    Hello, I am a greenie :D

This will be my first post yay I have been riding for 16years and I am now 19 (turning 20 in March). I own a 15.3H black & white Tobiano paint gelding that I have owned since he was 8years old (now 12) and just sold my TB mare that I have owned for the past 7years. I am addicted to Jumping and hope to some day ride in the Olympics but I need to win the lotto first lol. This year in adition to showing Dartanion (aka D) I will be showing my friends warmblood named Zilly, who can jump about 4'6"+ (can't remember) and Dartanion and I are at about 3' since he is sooo lazy I am surprised he can get over 2'6" LOL. I am a CSHA member and I am interested in showing APHA but D is not registered and with college I don't believe I will have time or money to buy and 1/2 decent APHA world worthy horse. Okies I'm going to hunt down some pictures of D for everyone to see

The first picture is us giving a deminstration ride at our local fair. The second one is D giving me a kiss after getting his new showmanship halter for x-mas. Then just to show off how hard D works, he won the 14-17 Silverbuckle for me last year and this year won me the Open buckle. Next year we will be competeing for the Amature buckle and I want to try the Open buckle with ZIlly. I should have pictures of Zilly soon .

Hi and welcome to the horseforum! You have a beautiful horse. He has gorgeous colouring, and looks great undersaddle! Looks like he's quite affectionate too. What a keeper!

I think he was a dog in a nother life because he LOVES to lick! I'll have to take a video some time. We will be working on showmanship and I'll ask him to squar up and hold. He'll look like he is concentrating soooo hard and once I tell him good boy he turns his head and starts licking me! Funniest thing ever! Thank you for all the complements.

Oh I know how you feel LOL I know for his tail I use water and bleach in a bucket and OMG it works like magic! when it's wet it will look a little yellow but once it's dry hehe it looks GOOD. As for the rest of him I've tried that white & bright and it works for the most part, I've also tried that spray but it gets all over your tack if you use it anywhere but their legs. Mostly just a lot of scrubbing with a sponge(SP) before the show day and then we "bubble" wrap him to help keep him clean over night. I'll get a picture of him in his bubble wrap some time lol.
