Helmet Decorations

Has anyone here personalized their helmet? Something that makes your helmet uniquely yours?

I'm starting up lessons as an adult, and when I got my helmet (decided to buy my own), I decided to spiff it up a little bit. Car decals are perfect for a helmet, by the way! They are a little tricky to apply since a helmet is rounded, but in the end, it worked out great.

Here is my helmet! Definitely won't be mixing it up with anyone else any time soon if I accidentally forget it at the barn (happened once when I was a teen taking lessons)!

Wow, that's pretty cute! I've never decorated my helmets, but it looks fun. Although, I don't think you want to do a barrel roll while your riding

I did that with my last two helmets! I had my aspiring artist friend paint them, the first had flaming wings on the sides (my horse's name is Icarus so it was supposed to match.) and my current one has a symbol from one of my favorite books on the side. I will see if I can post pictures later.

Oh, painting a helmet could be fun! Though decals were a pretty easy way to personalize it!

I know it is probably silly to buy my own helmet for lessons. But I have a issue of wearing anything on my head that other people have worn, I don't like doing it! I haven't ever gotten lice, and am planning on keeping it that way!

I'd recommend buying your own helmet for lessons actually. This way you know that it hasn't had any falls, and that it fits your head properly!

I haven't decorated myself, but I bought a Harry Hall in dark blue with the UK flag on the front.

Living in Germany, they think it is awesome! And they steer clear of the crazy brit muahahahahhaa

I seen this one advertised before it was on the market, I bought it as soon as it was available, rather snazzy I thought...
