Help with Horse leasing

I really want to try to lease a horse this summer but it seems like there is a severe lack of horses around here(MN) that are for lease. I ride english so it makes it that much harder as most riders around here are western. Any ideas on websites I could look at or search on?

Are you familiar with craigslist? I always see horses for lease on my local Otherwise, call around to some local barns and ask. Do you take lessons? Trainers would probably be able to point you in the right direction too

I belong to a midwest horse forum that is based out of MN. There was a lady on there looking to lease a horse. Just went to look and it is also a western horse she is looking to lease. I live in SD and I know one of my daughter's friends always leases her 4H horse. Maybe contact a your local extension office and get in touch with some of the 4H leaders. I am betting there is at least one with a member who would love to have a horse to lease :) Good Luck!

I suppose it depends on where you are in the state. There are several lease prospects at my barn.

Thanks guys. I'll have to talk to my trainer. Hopefully she'll know something. I ride in Isanti but live in Andover.
