Help Naming Her

Her name is Oreo now, but it feels more like a boys name and it so doesn't fit her.

I want something different(I have a cat named Michi). She is black and white, something along those lines would be good. I'm really drawing a blank for some reason. So...any suggestions?

I love the markings on her neck, very unique!

You could call her Jersey Lol, I know Jersey's aren't black and white but it's the first thing that popped into my head, lol. Maybe Holly?

What about the name of a famous female painter?

Sibylla
Rosalba
Artemisia
Frida
Georgia
Lavinia

My boyfriend wants to call her Holty for Holstein. Sigh. I veto'd that. LOL

Here are markings on her other side, I love the way she is marked.

I'm going to do research on female artists now. I hadn't thought of that one. I've been through Indian names. Mika caught my attention in Indian names, mean raccoon.

Rule # 1 - don't let your man or your children name your animals. The animals my daughter has named are Goldie (goldfish) and Mr. Whiskers (cat) She wanted to name my colt Fred, hubby agreed but being the mom I get to double veto

What about black & white film starlets from back in the day? Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Doris Day, Mae West?

Other b&w referenced names:
Domino Effect
Bar Code
Today's Headline or Read All About It (newpaper print)
Pie In The Sky (since she's piebald)

I love place names, where is your favorite place to visit? Place you met your hubby? Something special. We have a dog named Denali for the state park in Alaska, Dara, her daughter, is named after Dara Torres, famous Olympic swimmer, her brother was Phelps. Granddaughter is Violet, her collar as a puppy was purple so it just stuck. Our cats are Marsh, Aslan, Racoon (don't ask, a two yr old named her ), Echo, and Frodo. Our last little dog is Claire, the name I saved for one more baby that didn't happen. My daughters names are Laurel and Gracyn. If I have another daughter, I would choose Merryn, Aristen or Meryl. Just ideas

My horse is black and white and holstien came to mind and moo cow horse..It was hard for me but splash,Jersey,Moo.those were some names. I then ended up with the name Gidget.

You could name her ying yang. She has a hawk on her shouldblade..do you see it? It's flying and the tail feathers are on the right and head is left...you could name her something like Halcon which means hawk in spanish, there is Ave which is bird in portuguese
