I'll try to catch Max today and find out who his vet and farrier are. I also believe he shows his work horses somewhere in Indy at pulling events. Maybe at the fairgrounds? I'll let you know this afternoon. And good luck!!!!!!

Ok - update: She's been in a stall and does well in it. She gets along with other horses. Is a "pocket pony" though I'm not sure what that means.

You have such a good heart! It sounds like you have some access to some great info and resources - she will be blessed to have you.

I understand a "pocket pony" as a horse that is always seeking attention, maybe a nipper, I'm not sure. It depends on their definition. Either way, she sounds like a very friendly mare.

I was reading this thread and going to say "go for it, she needs you", ( if it s a disaster you can always find her a loving home) and looks the sort to repay you a thousand ways, but I've got a bit confused- have you now bought her? (i hope so- at that price wouldnt the meat people be tempted?)

Yeh my husband isn't too happy but he'll have to get over it. I told the guy I will buy her.

I am going to need another job just to support my horse habit. Oy vay. Thank God the boarding barn I'm at isn't expensive. Yipes.

What I need to do is open my own boarding barn haha. *sigh* wow I'm going to be so broke.
