I'm sure you'll be able to take him in any direction you want :) what a snuggle-butt!

I'm sad I have to leave Lily until I get back from school in December ): But I'm glad your baby is coming to live with you to play and grow :)

I was going to ask if you were still in Texas! Atleast you'll only be away for a few months ): That will give time for Henny and me to work on our lunging, though

And Henny is finally home! He was being a pain to load in the stock trailer for about 15 minutes, before he launched and dove into the trailer. He then proceeded to high step the the front of the trailer where we closed him behind the divider. He was distressed, calling for mama in the nearby field. After about an hour, he finally calmed down and got the hang of trailering. We stopped 3-4 times on the way home to check on him and make sure he was doing okay. Right now he's stalled up in the foaling stall, and is very interested in my other two boys. They however could care less, they were more interested in their hay than him. He looooves getting brushed everywhere. Excuse the horrible pictures, it was dark and storming with the incoming hurricane. The marks on his face are from weaning where he rubbed hair off giving the breeder a fight. He has already swung his butt into me and earned being shoved into the wall. If it's not raining tomorrow, I'll give him a bath and take some better pictures.

He's a little worse for wear but he will settle down and clean up in no time. Weaning and a trailer ride probably has the poor guy on edge. Glad the trip went safely and I look forward to future updates!

    Thanks, Houston! :)

He is a little scuffed up, but he behaved so well on the trailer ride once he calmed down. He'll settle in for a couple days and his hair will grow back and he will be groomed and worked with. He was the roughest of basics down, he likes to try and run on the lead. We'll be working with it every other day though, and take things nice and slow to get him behaving well!
