Hey! I'm new.

Hey everyone. I am new to this forum! I am 14 and have been riding horses for 2 years. I am going to be half leasing a beautiful Spotted Saddle Horse - Shiloh soon. He is 13 years old. He is one of the most pretty horses I have ever seen! I will post pictures when I go and meet him. I am really looking forward to this. He will be the first horse that I could even call a little bit mine. I could talk about this for hours. Tell me about your horses!

Thats great to hear! :) It's always so exciting when people get their first horse, even if it's not completely yours. I have a russian arabian mare who is 4 years old. I started breaking her in april and then I bought her in may. Her name is Pippin and I love her soo much. :) Good luck with 'your' horse I hope you have great experiences and learn a lot from each other. :)

Welcome and congrats, again, on your lease :)

My horse started out as a lease, then became mine. I've had him for almost 2 years :) He's Dutch Warmblood/Paint X who just turned 11.

Welcome!! I got my first horse when I was 12. He was half QH half Morgan and he was the best. He was 12 too and out of shape but I excercised him and eventually could ride him all day long. I only rode him bareback and he was the best. I am 33 now and just bought my 2nd horse in January. He is a thouroughbred/QH. A lttle younger(just turned 7) and more difficult, but I love him a much as anything. Wish you the best of luck with your new horse.
