HFA (Horse Forum Anonymous)

Hi my name is Danielle and I am a HF addict! I love to come on and learn new things, look at new pics, and ask questions about a hundred times a day! LOL I feel like I know you guys and talk about this forum like it's a real place!

I think...no, I KNOW there are more of you out there. It's so nice that I'm not fighting this addiction alone. The last thing I did on Thursday before I left my house for the camping trip was check the forum. Then the first thing I did when I got back home last night was get the computer and get on the forum. It's driving DH nuts. He has been a member of several CB forums since I met him. Now that I'm on the computer basically all the time when I'm actually home, he can't stand it. We sit there side by side on the sofa, each with our computers in our laps looking at our separate forums. The only difference is that since I got on here, he'll put his computer to the side to watch tv or try to talk. Once mine is on and in my lap it doesn't move unless it's to eat or step outside for something.

I hate to admit it, but I cheat on HF with several other BBs. I have a hard time being monogamous with just one. There, I said it.

Confession is supposed to be good for the soul, right?

Does anyone else feel a little selfconcious now that you can see exactly who is viewing a thread at the same time as you? When I see those names I think 'oh no, now everyone knows I am back on here again....WHINCE.'

Charli, this is the one where I spend the majority of my BB time, but I do read and post on others.

One is a HORSE ONLY board, and God help you if you post anything remotely not horse related. The Mods will close the thread faster than you can blink.

I also read and post on boards that aren't related to horses in the slightest. I do have other interests, although horses are my biggest obsession.

I looked around at several other horse based boards before joining here and I can honestly say I was disgusted by some of the things that I saw/read. I am so much more happier here .
