Hmm...

Well, yesterday Sunny totally launched me (my trainer and friend said his head like, touched the ground!) for really no reason. I was thinking, because I live in CA and there is so many fires (I think around 1,000!), and there's smoke in the air, that effected him?
Has anyone else had problems with that? I want to make sure it wasn't my fault or anything, because what he did was tripped (we were jumping) and went forward and bucked, very hard. Or, it was because he was mad at me because he tripped? He's sensitive...

It could have been so many things... He could have been feeling good and let out a buck, he could have just been in a mood... there could be a pain issue but... if he bucked after a jump, he was probaby just being silly and obnoxius... Did you land on your butt?

There is always the pain issue with him; if the saddle slides forward, he bucks. But, he's been doing so good lately! Luckily, the chiro is coming out soon (July 13th?). We were doing a jumper course and I turned him and he grabbed the bit, threw his head down very fast and bucked me off (like I said, I can stay on a lot of bucks but when he does huge bucks, he really does for being a 13hh pony!). I landed on my head, ouch!
