Ingrediants: Applesauce, flour, plain quaker oatmean, Rasins (optional)

1 1/2 cup- apple sauce
1/2 cup - flour (appox)
1 -cup oatmeal.

Stir together in a large bowl till you get a lightish tan color make sure all of it is mixed throughly

Preheat oven to 350F (if useing a glass pan 335F)

Oil a 9inx9in cake pan

Spred batter evenly

Put in oven for 25-30 mins it should be firm to the touch. Cut in small squares while still warm.

If not being used right away put them in a air tight container in the fridge. Hope your horsey likes the apple chews as much as mine did :)

I have looked at the flax horse treats in the store but they are kind of expensive. I'm sure adding it to your recipe would be a lot cheaper.
