That was a shame. That horse had no training, no confidence, and no leadership. Part of me hopes that those people get hurt for being so stupid. It could have been much worse, for horse and human. Some people are much harder on horses to get them into harness, but just because they didn't beat their horse into submission [at least not on camera] doesn't mean this method of training is in any way just or even effective for that matter.

Words can not even express how I feel about people like that. Plus it isn't even the horse's fault; if that horse was actually TRAINED it wouldn't behave that way.

Saw that video a year or so ago. Always figured the horse probably got worse treatment after pulling to the "riders" off and dragging them under the wagon...

FRIST the carriage had no brakes and they had no birching on the horse to keep carriage off SECOND no training what so ever _ I have see this around here and the woman lost her teeth and Brock her leg to show how stupid she was

It's stupidity all right, but I don't see any real abuse.

What I saw was an untrained horse being handled by people who had no clue how to train it.
