Horse Blog: The story of a one-eyed TB and his ambitious redhead

Hey all! I'm trying to get my blog, 8 Days a Week, off the ground and thought some of you might be interested in reading.

Whats it about, you ask?

The Horse:
Coeur de Pirate, affectionately known as Pirate, The Pie, Pieface, and the ever popular "one-eyed *******" is the half blind, long-backed, pissy, uncooperative, loving, hilarious, snuggleable, chiropractically-challenged, obnoxious, wonderful walking contradiction of a thoroughbred that is my lot in life.

The Girl:
I'm a 19 year old college student on the road to becoming an equine vet, trying to master the art of living in two places at once.

The Blog:
This is the training journey of a one-eyed thoroughbred and an ambitious redhead. The goal? Take us from the respective horse and girl we are now and turn us into what I know we can be. We're far from perfect, but here's to hoping we can get a little closer.

Stop by and check us out!
