horse choice

Ok so I love my little arab to death but I am really wanting to get barrel racing and he needs so much work that Im not sure he will really make it in to barrel racing anytime soon. So I've been on the look out, I don't want anything special doesn't have to have papers or be a proven barrel horse as I have a trainer that can help me get the new horse running and I found these 4. Im not good with confo so please feel free to tell me if they look like they could keep up with it.
The first that caught me eye was this little black mare, she's plain and nothing typey but she's the height range I want and the perfect age. Also the place she is at will help me decide if she is right for me which I really like.
Stocky Black QH Mare

This guy is at the same place as the above mare and he also caught me eye.

The next was another black mare however it doesn't say her exact location and I'm not sure how far she is from me and that might be a problem with trailering and going to see her and getting my vet out there.
AQHA 11yr old Jet Black Peppy San Badger Bred Mare

Last was a younger mare but she has the size I want and also seems to be a good little mare but I might have to take it slow with her being young depending on how she were to take to barrels soo she's also an smaller possibility.

I don't know much about conformation traits that are favorable for barrel racing but the first mare, I'd definitely want to see more pics of. Her stance seems awkward, hopefully just a bad picture.

The second and third horses seem decently put together. I'd want to have a look in person but my choice would be from those two of the four.

Good luck!

Oh sorry I should have added this link to the first one sorry. These definitely show her better definitely think it was just a bad choice in picture to show her off.

I would pick the last mare out of them, my second pick would be the second black mare. 4 to me is the perfect age, there still young but old enough to withstand more things.I just bought a 4 year old colt and started him on barrels. She's built good and solid to last and hold up. The black mare is doc bar bred which is a smart line that good barrel horses have come from, I also like her build. But her age which isn't at all old, I just don't like buying prospects over 7.

Scratch what I said on the last black mare, looking again she appears sickle hocked.

Ya I can't tell much from the one picture of the last black mare but again her and the 4yr old would be huge ifs based on how far they are. The first 2 are bigger possibiliter simply because the are 2 and a half hours away but if I decide I like one of them they can trailer it here.
I would love to have a younger prospect however I've been having trouble finding one in my price range that is started and has atleast decent confo.

The one thing I see with the first black mare is she seems to be butt high. But I can't tell if its hurt or the ground

Ok well the last 2 (4 yr old nd 11yr old black mare) are out both sold. Now looking at the first black mare she seems very butt high almost alittle roach backed but I can't really tell if its just the picture.
Im pretty drawn to her and pistol though.. however what do you guys think on those 2 specifically before I really talk to my mom about it.
