Horse paper ideas?

So I have a referance paper due next friday and it has to be 5-8 pages of writing (not counting front page and list of referances) Ok, I can write about anything I want, so I chose horses. But.. I have no idea what part to write about. I had started one about training, but there weren't enough things to reference (if that makes any sense) and now I was thinking breeds, but I just don't know..
So any ideas ?

what about how horse training has changer through time, like starting with the wild west and indians and moving to Parelli Monty Roberts, you could do how the came to the UK and how the two different styles became separate (English and Western)

IF YOU CAN THINK IF A NAME FOR THE HORSE TO THE LEFT PLEASE PM ME!!! (Barn name, but he's spanish so we want it very...spanishylol)

I actually like that idea !
I'm going to go check out how much I can find about it on the internet.. libraries here are no help, their horse section is tiny (I have most of their collection checked out.. maybe like 75%, no fooling)

If you read what Ann Hyland writes, her believe is that western riding comes from Romans and English style comes from the highly trained German barbains.
"Training the Roman Cavarly" is a good place to start.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.
