Horse publications that don't suck

Does one exist? I know opinions vary and back in the day, I devoured 'Western Horseman' but I've heard the quality has really hit the skids.

Input please?

I like Equus for general health stuff. Otherwise I get discipline specific magazines - Practical Horseman and Dressage Today.

I have found that most horse publications have decreased in quality. They have nice glossy paper, but not a whole lot of useful content. I like training and horse keeping articles rather than human interest stuff.
One that is still pretty good is John Lyon's Perfect Horse. I also like Practical Horseman for english info.

I agree. Equus and The Horse for health. And Practical Horseman and Dressage Today for riding and a bit on health and wellbeing.

The last two are if you ride english.

I also vote for Equus. It's one of the few horse mags that is still more articles than ads.
