6) Do you like.... (put an *X* by the side of the things you like)

Now are the questions that might take a little more thinking about:

Your dream horse - (photo off google if you like, and a profile, CANNOT BE YOUR PONY, but I bet they are your dream horse. They can be similar though.

I would love love love! A Solid grulla Quarter Horse stallion

What do these sayings mean, are they true for you, or not?

a) Don't look a gift horse in the mouth I'm thinking about becoming an Equine Dentist, so no I don't agree, but I made a possible slogan for my business out of this phrase:
"I'm not afraid to look your gift horses in the mouth."
b) Noblest of the train that wait on man, the flight-performing horse ? Don't know what this one means

If someone said these things to you, what would you think and how would you reply?

"God, your horse is ugly!" I don't own a horse at the moment...so your argument is invalid
"Why do you even bother with those stupid animals, come shopping with us, don't waste your life on a creature." Why do you bother going out and wasting your money on clothes you'll never wear. At least I'm using my "stupid animal".
"Wanna go riding?" When and Where?
"You can sit around doing nothing or we can tack up and ride out!" Option number two, por favor.

How long have you been riding for? 6 years
Do you have regular riding lessons? Nope
Are you just coming off ponies? I've never ridden a pony (excluding the pony rides at the carnivals)
Do you like to ride horses or ponies As long as I have a good mount under me, who cares?
Are you a happy hacker? Yep yep yep.
Are you more likely to fall off than stay on? Ask me when I start breaking colts.

* My computer is being annoying, so no picture of my dream horse.

I'm too lazy to find a picture, but my dream horse is currently a tall, warmblood mare with good movement and is by either Regardez Moi, Lauries As, or Fisherman's Friend and out of a Vivaldi mare.

What do these sayings mean, are they true for you, or not?

a) Don't look a gift horse in the mouth - Always appreciate what you get.
b) Noblest of the train that wait on man, the flight-performing horse. Ummm?

If someone said these things to you, what would you think and how would you reply?

"God, your horse is ugly!" "She might look like she's run headlong into a wall and has a body like a tank, but movement wise, she'd kick the pants off your horse any day."
"Why do you even bother with those stupid animals, come shopping with us, don't waste your life on a creature." "Why do you bother with your boyfriend then? I'd prefer to waste my life on a creature like Maggie than on a gorilla like him. "
"Wanna go riding?" "For sure! Where are we going?"
"You can sit around doing nothing or we can tack up and ride out!" "Sweetie, I'm only sitting around waiting for you ;) I'm already tacked! "

How long have you been riding for? On and off for 15 years, riding consistantly for 10.
Do you have regular riding lessons? Yes. Every Thursday morning and every free weekend.
Are you just coming off ponies? I've been off ponies for 6 years.
Do you like to ride horses or ponies I much prefer horses.
Are you a happy hacker? I guess.
Are you more likely to fall off than stay on? Definately stay on. If I could put up with Toby and Joe's crap, I can put up with anything.

...Every rider has that one horse that changes everything about them...

I love paints. Tricolor ones, mostly. And tall horses, but not bulky. A mare, since I already have my gelding and occasionally need some girl talk. Mellow-minded and skilled in the opening of gates and the evading of eating sand.

What do these sayings mean, are they true for you, or not?

A) Don't look a gift horse in the mouth Be thankful for whats given to you.
B) Noblest of the train that wait on man, the flight-performing horse Never heard this one, but I'm not waiting on any man, I can tell you that much. ;)

If someone said these things to you, what would you think and how would you reply?

"God, your horse is ugly!" 'He's so nice, though. Go stand behind him and smack his ass with a stick, would you? He won't even care!'
"Why do you even bother with those stupid animals, come shopping with us, don't waste your life on a creature." 'No thanks.'
"Wanna go riding?" 'Can't, Milo isn't broke yet.'
"You can sit around doing nothing or we can tack up and ride out!" 'Is that a line from a movie?'

How long have you been riding for? Since I was eight.
Do you have regular riding lessons? Never have.
Are you just coming off ponies? Just getting into it, actually. Bought my first horse two months ago.
Do you like to ride horses or ponies Horses. Ponies are stubborn.
Are you a happy hacker? when the horse is, sure.
Are you more likely to fall off than stay on? They call me the monkey- I get to sit on the untrained horses and cling for my life because of my reputation for not falling off as much.

Step one: Mount horse. Step two: Stay mounted.

1) Where are you from?I have lived in five other states before now, but, I just moved to Virginia with my family :)
2) Do you own/ part loan / loan / share a pony?
I "own" one horse, two ponies and one foal that might go either way.
Technically my parents own three of them :P

3) What is your riding style? English, western, driving? All of the above. Although I've never competed in anything.
4) Your favourite breed is?
uhm, That's a tough one... I think, if I had to choose, I would say Andalusians and Icelandics are my favorite's.5) Why is that our favourite breed?
I can't really explain other than to say that I just really like them.6) Do you like.... (put an *X* by the side of the things you like)

Pleasure - Western
Driving.X.
Jumping.X.
Cross-country.X.
Dressage - simple or experienced
Hacking.X.

Now are the questions that might take a little more thinking about:

Your dream horse - (photo off google if you like, and a profile, CANNOT BE YOUR PONY, but I bet they are your dream horse. They can be similar though. My dream horse, for now, would be a really light Dunskin pintaloosa. I'm talking like buttermilk/sand yellow and jet black, with the big leopard pattern spots. All on a really stocky/cob like body with thick legs and big feet.
It looks really awsome in my head :P

If someone said these things to you, what would you think and how would you reply?

"God, your horse is ugly!" I'd probably just shrug and think or say "...so, and your point is?"
"Why do you even bother with those stupid animals, come shopping with us, don't waste your life on a creature."
"You're a creature too... 0.o" lol
"Wanna go riding?""Definitely!! "
"You can sit around doing nothing or we can tack up and ride out!""What are you waiting for? Lets ride!"

How long have you been riding for?I have been riding since I was four, so, almost fourteen years :)
Do you have regular riding lessons? No, I've never had any riding lessons...
Are you just coming off ponies? No. I had never even ridden a pony until two & a half years ago.
Do you like to ride horses or poniesBoth.
Are you a happy hacker?uhm... Yes? I think so.
Are you more likely to fall off than stay on?I think I'm more likely to stay on. The only thing that I'm real likely to come off from is bucking, thankfully I haven't had many chances to practice that one.

About the train one. I think it means they are transport like trains that wait on men. Lol

If your horse says no, you either asked the wrong question, or asked the question wrong.* ~Pat Parelli
