Tempest... is that your Saddlebred? Aren't you from up north somewhere? That sounds JUST like one of my good friends horses.

Rocket is the rescued Saddlebred and yes I do live up north. Does your friend still own this horse?

I barely remember this because I was really young...but one day me and my mom were driving with the trailer and my moms quarter horse and my pony(i was probably only 6)...well we were going on a poker ride with our local riding club and we had to drive an hour up old logging roads. Well we came around thehorse and seen a truck and horse trailer on its side in the ditch. We stopped and all I remember is my mom screaming because the lady that was driving has past away...she was a good friend of my mom since im from a realy small town. Well she was on her way to the poker ride and had a heart attack. The horse trailer was on its side with her gelding still in the back that was freaking out! I remember my mom tellingme to hold the door on the trailer while he tried to get him out. He was badly cut on his left hind. We managed to load him into the trailer and drive home...we didnt have cell service at this time so we had to stop at home to call the cops and tell them about the accident. The nearest vet was an hour and a half drive away. So we unloaded our horses and drove straight to the vet. My mom paid for the bills to get the horse back to good health and brought him home once he was ok. My mom still has that old gelding, he hasnt been rode since but he is the boss of my moms barn that's for sure! It took a long time for him to ever get back into a mom used to call him my babysitter because I used to just go and sit with him for hours out in teh field and color while he ate grass next to me....

Not much of a resuce but still a pretty sad story...

No I do not think she does. She is from WI I think. It just seems interesting to me. I like finding connections with people.

Oh, okay. I don't think Rocket has ever been to Wisconsin.
