Horse riding holidays?

Anyone had a great experience on a horse riding holiday or know any great places to go for a riding holiday? Im looking for one anywhere but not really america (sorry to far for me XD). All suggestions welcome though

A few of my friends spent a week on a horsey holiday in mid Wales - they stayed in a B&B and spent the day riding and having lessons and looking after 'their' horses :)

That sounds nice , yea im looking at all options, but mainly at places where you stay at one place and go out for hacks or lessons during the week etc.

Oh, the B&B was on the farm :) I can't remember the name ... but if you were interested in the, er, joys of mid Wales I can get it off my friend.

I've never been on any horse holidays, but I've ridden in several Holiday Parades with my Beauty.

Probably too far away for you but in case anyone else is interested... This is where I went to ride Icelandic horses for a week. The accommodations were pretty rustic but the food, the scenery and the horses were outstanding!

I know you asked for holidays a full year ago but perhaps you 're looking for new options.
What do you think about a horseriding holiday in North Africa? In the South of Tunisia? Trekking through the Sahara with nights under Bedouin tents. From 2 days to a full week.
