Heres the one i used when i sold Ginger (just change the names and things like that)

Bill Of Sale

This document is an official bill of sale in the state of New York between two parties, Brianna (seller) and ________________ (buyer).

Seller promises to transfer ownership of 10 year old Thoroughbred mare known as Ginger, Poetry in Motion and Rocomotion, via sale to buyer. Mare is approximately 15 hands high, chestnut with a strip and cornet markings. Mare has not been bred.

Mare sells “as is” with no warranties representations whatsoever on future performance and fitness.

Risk of Loss
Seller is not responsible for any injuries or loss of mare.

I was informed by previous owner that Ginger has been trail ridden with others, has jumped and has been shown. I personally haven’t shown her or trail ridden her.

I just wrote up my own....

but make sure in the contract is has
Name of horse (both barn name and registered name)
Registration number and what she's registered in
Age
Approx Height
Sex

Then as Gingerrr said, make sure it says no warrinties (yeah can't spell lol) are made, and Vega is sold "as is".
If you want I can e-mail you a copy of the agreement we had for Sonny when we bought him

I saw some contracts.. they looked like they were PAGES long!

I have the one from Vega, but we also signed up for boarding as well.. i'll have to see what it says.

Jenny, if you wouldn't mind sending it over, i would appreciate it.
