Horse Scholarships

So it;s that time of life where its hours upon hours of looking at colleges and scholarships. But I'm having some problems with the scholarships. The only ones I can find for horses are the ones where you have to be in that association or club. Im the kind of rider that rides and works with a lesson program with horses that are amazing but are the mutts and we don't have any papers for them.I want to make this my life and my job but I don't belong to any clubs or anything. So are there any scholarships out there for riders like me?

I don't know but sometimes for scholarships you have to change what you do a bit. Who pays the scholarships? Is it the clubs that finance it? Perhaps you can find some clubs you can join and work with.

I"m not sure I understand... generally the scholorships are for people who are going to be riding on a team in a specific discipline. Depending on the discipline, breed doesn't really matter but show history might and riding ability will. Most schools will ask for a video of you riding. If you have a question I'd contact the coach of the team directly and ask.

I'm not really saying a scholarship from a specific college. More of the general ones that you can apply for. Like AQHA offers millions of scholarships but 99% are for members only.
