Sampson got his first set of front shoes today and his body and expression said it all. Poor guy but amusing all the same (gentle giant)

Sampson: I don't like that rasp..it makes funny noises...I don't like that pick...ahhhh tickles...tickles...TICKLE NO!! *pulls right front foot away and wiggles lips and snorts*

Shoeing (my trainer was trying to keep his attention with a carrot while I baby talked him to stay calmish)

Sampson: Ahhh smoke! Ooo is that a carrot...ahhhh smoke! *lips at mommy* ahhhh smoke...oooo carrot... yup a carrot...I like carrots, carrots are yummy, can I have another...and another...any more carrots? Ouch that nail feels funny...*wiggles upper lip*
I don't like this anymore, I'm bored...no more carrots game over...there's a person under me...what's he doing under me...I'll just lean back as far as I cannnnnnn *farrier puts down left front* AH HA!!! I HAVE MY FOOT BACK! It's heavier now...what did you do to it?! *bats ears at the ground in general direction of the new shoe and snorts at farrier*

    Repeat for right front.
