Horse Vacation?

I have an idea and wanted to get some feedback straight from the....well you know.

My husband and I own 2.5 acres on the Fox River in Wisconsin. We live where people from Illinois and Southern Wisconsin come to vacation. The previous owners had a set up for 2 horses to stay here during the spring, summer, and fall and we have kept everything up, though we have no horses ourselves.

Lately a life at sea has been calling to me and we would like to go cruising in the not too distant future and rent out the house on a weekly basis for some income. One big and unique advantage that we can offer people is that they can bring their horses on vacation with them.

Does this sound appealing to you? Feasible? Any downsides that you can think of?

I really appreciate any feedback you might have. I am not very equine knowledgeable (though I do find them to be beautiful animals).

Thank you!
