Horse veggie patch. What should i grow??

So i'm thinking of growing a veggie patch!! And I want to add in a little section for horses. Even though I don't have a horse, it would be nice to keep some handy as a lot of people own horses near my house, and i'm thinking of doing up a little horsey herb thing up for my instructor and horsey friends. Plus when I do get a horse it's already set up. Any ideas on what I should grow???

    All help appreciated
