Horses went for a midnight stroll

    Stupid horses!
730 this morning I get a call from a trainer up the road saying 3 of our horses are out. I live 20 mins from the property so frantically try calling the 2 ladies that live there. No answer so they either know and are out chasing or just won't answer their phones.

I start getting dressed and my old trainer who lives on the same block calls. She was behind them in the car. As I'm on the phone to her the lady I agist with drove up behind her.

So they were about 50 meters from the gate with the horses so I let them go and sat on the couch FREAKING out and feeling useless.

It seems that construction over the back fence has loosened the fence and them kangaroos have flattened it. It's been temporarily fixed and will be fixed later when I have a second pair of hands.

But on the bright side good to know that 4 separate people made the effort to contact us.

Wow. How scary. But yeah that is good that at least someone noticed, and made the effort to contact you. That could've been a lot worse.
