I HATED THE HORSE WHISPERER

A very long time ago I read a book called "blue ribbon summer" it was a silhoutte teenager romance, loved it...

I loved the Fury of Broken Wheel Books

My friend flicka, Thunderhead, and the green grass of wyoming

Saddle a Thunderbolt was one I read when I was young...

I'll have to think about some more....

"Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"

When I was a teen, I read this book about a girl who lives in Montana, or Wyoming who saves a black mustang, but hid the horse in a shed because her father either hated horses, or hated Mustangs.

It made me cry.

I can't remember the name of the book.

I read a bunch of horse books... I used to love horse books... they all made me cry...

Horse whisperer freaked me out and I hated the ending...

The Black Stallion Series, though I will admit, I liked Flame much more than the Black. Lol

I have a funny story, but it's off topic.

When the Horse Whisperer came out on video, my aunt really wanted to see it, so she sent her husband down to rent it. He was gone for a really long time, when he finally arrived home, he was empty handed.

My aunt asked where the movie was, and her husband simply replied ...

"They didn't have the horse with fur."

All of Nicolas Spark's books make me cry, they don't have horses in them tho. Lately I just read text books.

When I was in 4th or 5th grade I used to love the pony pals and saddle club series.

I don't have a favorite horse themed book...a recent one that I read and liked was All the Pretty Horses.

the Black Stallion books, definitely.
Phantom Stallion books are good, altough aimed at younger readers (12 - 15) and being an Aussie gal I LOVE the Silver Brumby books!!!
All I can think of for now...
