I once treated a sick full grown male deer. I had a male assistant that was a former rodeo bull rider. The deer was terribly sick and laying down. He stood over it and held its antlers so that he could restrain the animal while I started an I.V. line. The deer didn't like the I.V. needle and he jumped up and started running all around the stall with my assistant on his back. He rode him like a champ! I wish somebody had been able to video that! Eventually we got the I.V. started.........

I think riding a deer would be cool but a full grown deer in my area weighs less than I do.. so I think that may be impossible..

but
own/ ride a lipizzaner, or icelandic is on my bucket list

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I live pretty close to Bandera, TX. They specifically have hitching posts set up for those that want to stop in for a drink or two. One day real soon, I will be drinking and driving.

Ride my horse in/around any large body of water.
Go camping with my horse nearby...old cowboy style.
Ride in the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo trail ride.

I've been on a racehorse at full speed (scary!! but exciting).

Great thread! I dont call mine a bucket list, I call it my 40th bday list (I turn 40 in 2 years, YIKES!)

-purchase a horse
-take it through first level dressage
-Complete my large and small animal massage certification and start my equine massage business
-Attempt to start hunters under saddle again (used to compete as a teen)

Haha trust me guys. If I eventually ride a deer, whether it be 5 years from now, or 50, I'll be sure to post the video on HF
