Hot...Sticky...Weather

Okay this is a topic for everyone to rant about how mad hot it is outside and how it is affecting your horse.


Okay I am in GA and it is soo hot here. I can barley ride in the mornings cause it is still hot! My poor horse gets so tired so fast. I have barley been jumping my normal excercise. I have been just doing flat work. I love flat work but I miss jumping :( It is just so uncomfortable wearing jods in this heat. Jeans get all itchy when sweaty. And shorts and boots rub my legs.

Im sorry, I just had to vent. I know I am not alone

Ugh, it's around 90F here...very hot. But the humidity isn't too bad so it's okay.
Lately it's been raining at night & thundering (from all the heat during the day) soo that can be soo annoying.

Yeah i'm in ga too and its horrible this weather we are having is CRAZY!!!!! i ahvent rode in almost 2 weeks

It's hot here in the desert! At least it's dry though, I don't know how you all deal with heat and humidity at the same time.

Last week we had really warm weather and tons of sun - and by that I mean it was 28 or 30 degC outside. This week it's chucking it down with rain and is kind of humid, but not uncomfortably so, in between.

For all that the weather kind of sucks, I'm so glad I'm in the UK and not in America. We have weather, not climate, so anything that happens will not last long :)

Wow, I wish it was 90 and raining! It's about 100 here, which means the heat index is around 104, with 56% humidity, which means that it's muggy enough to be uncomfortable but not enough to actually rain. While the arenas need to be watered every day and are STILL dust clouds by noon. UGH. I hate summer.

geezzzeee. Now is humid and rainy. You would think the rain would cool everything off but nooooooooo.
