    UPDATE....I think!

I rode [not really but I sat on her] Abby today just in the round yard bareback [girth too long] I hoped on and she started walking forward so I stopped her so I could gain my balance again. When I was ready I asked her to go foward, she did a half leap, half buck. I got her to stand still so I could get my nerves under control lol. Then she started backing up putting her head down. Got off and made her trot around the round yard then hoped back on her again. Did the same thing but instead she was side stepping, backing up, putting her head down just being a brat. I got sick of it so I got off and gave her a wash down and gave her a feed then lefted, she got the silent treatment lol.

On the way home Mum said "We will have to ring her old owners first to see if he wants her back", now all I have to do is convice my granddad! I will take him out there to show him what she is doing, like I did with Mum and hopefully he will say that maybe we should try again.

I think I have learnt my lesson and next time I wont say yes to a horse I don't really want.

A step at a time and isn't learning just wonderful? LOL... sometimes we have to eat it a bit, but in the end, it's worth it. Hope this turns out for you.
