I find that you have to let them find you, not you find them.

The one's that are meant to be with you, in my experience, fall in your lap. After I moved here, and been for over a year, I started to look for a horse for myself, since Hubby and I shared a horse *his horse* and we planned on eventing together, so it was due time for me to find my own mount.

And Nelson just fell in my lap. Before I knew we were going to be together, I was riding him for a boarder to keep him in shape for sale. Little did I know he was going to be mine, but he ended up mine - he fell in my lap.

Just be patient. Your horse will find you.
