Hi everyone, I need a few opinions. I bought a new horse on the 9th of Oct.
Gave her some time to settle in and by the 24th I knew for certain that she needed to be shod with the rocks and gravel around here. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, called the farrier, said she needs shoes, he knows what she needs and we WAIT! How long does it take to get the iron?? How long should I wait? I have called him numerous times and finally saw him driving by the ranch and asked him. He said something about his supplier. Anyway, I finally called him today and left another message, this time offering to drive to get or to order the shoes myself if need be. I almost tried another farrier once before but cancelled when my farrier finally called me back. I am afraid to make an appointment with another and have him call and say he has them. Gah, what do I do. What would you do??? Thanks!
