I said 6 but I'm riding my mare less and my fillies more right now. We have ridden the fillies every day this week but the mares only about 5 times. If the weather is good we try to ride every day on the babys at least a 15-20 min. session. I'm really pushing to get them trail ready.

I ride everyday. Blue and I are getting in shape. Either it is a qiuick bareback gallop across the feild or a long jumping session, she always gets ridden. Unless it's raining hard.

5-6 days a week. It is always good to let your horse have a day off.

I do allot of hacking, hacking is the best exercise for an Eventer :) You get lots of hill work, walk, trot, canter intervals and plenty more. There is so much you can accomplish during these rides.

Arena work once a week.

I should have asked, does cleaning, tacking and riding 3 horses a day count as more? I'm tired

I ride six days a week. My warmblood mare is very hard to keep fit and needs to be ridden six days a week to keep fit. Sometimes when i am in intense training we will do five days a week at one ride a day and then one day at two rides a day.

I have lessons 2-3 days a week, but I'm at the barn 5 days a week. It's a private barn, with 17 horses, but only 3 of them are boarders. My trainer breeds(currently has 2 studs of her own), and several mares and babies.(3 year olds in training, as well) She's big into Trakehners. She usually hands me Moosie and sends me out to have fun and ride with her mom. So i guess I get to ride 3-4 days a week.

@ridingismylife2: 40 for a group lesson?? wow that's really expensive! even the more expensive barns around here don't charge more than 40 for a private lesson ... group lessons around here usually cost about 25-30 maximum.

Hmm. I say 4 is an average. Sometimes three on a super busy week, sometimes four, five, or six on a week with more time. I'm at the barn almost every day, but I work there, and some days I'm just too tired to ride. So it definitely depends.

I give myself very good advice, But I very seldom follow it
