Wink How much does it cost YOU?

Curious to know how much things cost everybody depending on where they are.

Indicate:
Where you live:
How much private and group lessons cost at your barn:
How much it costs to half/full lease:
"..." to board/pasture board:

Aaand, ya that's pretty much it!

A ride a day keeps the worries away!

How much private and group lessons cost at your barn: 50 for private, 45 semi (no group at the moment though they would probably cost 40)
How much it costs to half/full lease: no clue actually probably somewhere between 250 and 300 for half. (I am estimating)
"..." to board/pasture board: full board is 500 I believe.

625 a month full board, 400 lesson board
55 private lesson, 40 semi private, 4 free lessons with board
We don't have pasture board, just lesson board which is when you have your horse for 4 days out of the week and the barn has it 3 days and uses it for lessons, basically the barn leases the horse(:

Pasture board ranges from 450 to 250
Full board 550 to 950

How much private and group lessons cost at your barn: The owner charges $25 for a one hour private lesson or training ride, but she is western. I ride english so when I do actually take lessons it's $55 for a 45 minute private lesson for a trainer who comes out to me.

How much it costs to half/full lease: I have no idea.

To board/pasture board: I pay $150 for a 25 x 40 foot pen with a small shelter. I provide my own hay and grain and they feed it for me and muck his pen.

I live in Nebraska
I don't board at a barn, a friends parents live 1.5 miles from my house and Jack is kept there. I have a 45 x 65 pen with a small shed. I buy my own hay and do all my own chores. They charge us 40$ a month for use of the pen. Other places that I have checked around here are around 150$ a month for board

I'm going to put two down here because what I pay at my barn is the cheapest of cheap, wel below average, there is no trainer, no lessons etc.

I live in SE Michigan
No lessons at my barn
Down the street lessons are $35 for private/$30 for semi.

A lease at my barn is full or unlimited $100
Down the street 1/2 lease is $250 full $300 (Includes 4 lessons a month)

Our board is $185(In every night/out every morning.)
Down the street pasture board is $280/ Stall board is $350

I included the woman's barn from down the street because her prices are more on average of what it would normally cost, I wasn't sure if you were just looking for estimated cost per area or what we actually pay :)

i'll give two examples as well as my board situation isn't typical for the area.

Lessons - I pay $30 for a semi-private lesson (trainer comes to me)
At the facility my trainer works out of I believe she charges the same $30 for a private/semi-private lesson

No idea about leases

Board - I pay for hay/grain/supplements/etc. and my friend takes care of my horses for me (so i'm incredibly lucky)
The barn my trainer works out of is $250/300 for a pen outside with hay included or $400 for a stall in the barn with a run and hay included. Everything else is at the owners expense (grain, supplements, blanketing, etc.)

Where you live: Lehigh Valley, PA (about 1 hour north of Philadelphia)
How much private and group lessons cost at your barn: 30 min private - $30; 1 hr private - $50; 1 hr group - $25
How much it costs to half/full lease: Leases are through private owners so this varies
"..." to board/pasture board: $600 per month full care only, plus two lessons required per month

I've spent most of my life riding horses. The rest I've just wasted.
