Hello there, I've advertised one of my horses for sale, and an old friend has contacted me, asking if I'd lwvtb her. I hadn't really considered loaning her, but it wouldn't really bother me, especially because I know her. However, I've never loaned a horse before so I wouldn't know how much to loan her for. Her description (which is her advert) is as follows:
"Beautiful Welsh sec D X, for Sale or Swap
Berry is a gorgeous middleweight Bay mare, 4 years old, standing at 14.3 (will make 15hh) She has a lovely gentle temperament, is ridden both English and Western styles, as well as ridden bareback (with pad - to protect her back) and bitless (I always ride bitless, although, before I got her she was ridden in a snaffle) She's trained in basic natural horsemanship. She's a very gentle, loving mare, and has had my Mum ride her (And my Mum has only ridden once before in her life!) and she was as good as gold. She hacks in company, but has a few dependency issues that means she does get a little nervey when alone (but it's nothing a confident rider couldn't handle) Would make a gentle lead rein horse, but has lots of potential to be a super riding horse with the right work put in (she'd make a fab summer project for a competitive teen or adult) She's done some work jumping, and shows a lot of potential. Based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Looking for around £1200, but willing to negotiate. Or will swap for school master / well broke horse"
She's still green and quite a plod... so I have no idea how much to loan her for. Plus, she'd be living at the girl's stables, not mine, so there won't be livery fee included. Any advice appreciated :)
