how often do you ride?

Wow. Now I feel really bad. Between work, my son, the house, and my husbands job- takes up all his time- I have been lucky to get in 2-3 rides a week! I hope Hondo doesn't mind too much. At his last home he was only ridden once or twice a month so I think my riding would feel like work to him.

2 to 3 times a week.

I have lessons twice a week and ride a friend's horse on occasion. I can't wait until I have the experience/funds for my own horse. That way I won't be restricted to someone else's time and schedule!

3 to 4 days a week - anymore than that and things start to fall apart at home...

I try for every second day because I like to give my boy a break inbetween since we tend to ride hard. Ocassionally I will do a trail ride on the break days if I NEED to ride :)

I love when I have weeks like this week:
Monday: off (barn full for lessons)
Tuesday: off (volunteering)
Wednesday: Lesson Horse
Thursday: Ransom (& volunteering)
Friday: Lesson Horse
Saturday: Ransom
Sunday: Ransom

Usually everyday but mother has forbidden me to ride during track season.. im on varsity and rio bucks.. coach would kill if I got injured. So.. I havent rode since like february but im allowed to do ground work.. yet I've snuck it just a few times.. (:

I aim for 6 days/week, weather and time permitting. Usually I try to get up early before work to ride so that I've got a bit more daylight, but if the weather is bad, then I need to rush down and get a 30min ride in while it's still reasonably light. Oh to have the money for an indoor!!

School year-twice a week and any other day I can call in "sick" or have a vacation day :) I have a trainer ride Sonny on Tuesday's and Thursday's to keep him in shape and work on neck reining.

Summer-everyday Monday through Friday although I ride every other day and do ground work on off days

My 2 year old I ride at least 5 days a week. My old mare gets 2 days a week maybe 3. My team penning/sorting mares gets 5 days a week but she is off for 1.5 weeks due to being bred on saturday.

I'm with her every day. I don't ride every day since I have only had her since 4/4/12. I don't want her learning to run from me when she sees me so I give her rests. She loves me to line graze her and talk to her on my non riding days.

My fiance' has been very supportive so far. The house looks like a bomb went off in it and I've only cooked dinner once. As I stated in previous post I just got her April 4th. I need to do something nice for him, huh?
