Well I was WAY to tall to become a jockey so I become a track rider.
It also depends on you're weight.

Im 5'9 and weigh 55

Im no longer a track rider because I really didnt get paided enough and didnt want to risk my life, no matter how good I was.

You can go onto the internet and have a look because im not sure on the set height. I think it all veries.

The reason why the apply more weight in the saddle's to how small you are and how much you weight.

Not sure their.

Maybe you could ask the jockey club?

I think it's more on weight than size - I know an ex-jockey who is topping 6" but when he was a jockey he managed to get his weight down to 8-9 stone. From experience it seems 10 stone is the practical limit if you want to have success, the lighter the better really!
