I was just wondering how you guys think Shaggy looks. I wish I had pics of when he got so skinny to compared to these but oh well. I was wondering how his weight looks. Thanks

A little bit chubby! Oh yes, just a tip, rope halters (and all other halters but especially rope halters) should be two fingers (sideways, or about an inch) below the cheekbone, the very prominent bone on the side of the face. This way if you wont damage the horses nose, there is no bone there, it is very sensitive!

Lol I was thinking that when I was girthing up yesterday. And Thanks for tip on the halter I had it tied a little tighter so he couldn't pull it lose cause the barn owner mowed the ring and round it and didn't want him eating the fresh mowed grass. I didn't want the only rideble horse on the place to colic. =)

Ah yes- I mean the noseband of the rope halter, sorry bout that! And he is tied MUCH to short, even if you were preventing him from eating the grass. It is best to tie to posts as they are very hard to break, and board will just easily snap.

I know it is but honestly the whole ring is falling apart so it doesn't really matter where I tie him plus I was right there the whole time and he's not spooky. If ya noticed he's actually dozing off lol
