Question Hunter Field Boots?

What's your favorite brand/ type?

I used to have the Ovation Finalist and I LOVED them. Unfortunately, they were too short for my legs:(

I just ordered the Middleburg Zip Field Boot which had some nice reviews, and came in my perfect size!

Has anyone else had any good experiences with these?

Haha I heard from someone that they don't make them? But, I guess they were wrong! Man, I've heard so many great things about those boots.. I wish I would've looked them up before I ordered these! I hope they're nice

These are the ones I got:

They had really nice reviews, and they were in my perfect size! And I liked the little medallion thing on the side.. Reminded me on the monacos that I will never get:(

Yup, I bought the ones on the bottom (the Supremes) and almost cried when they were just way too tall. They are absolutely gorgeous and butter soft!! And half the price of boots the same quality.

The monaco's are beautiful too, but complete crap. They don't last worth a darn! They have this weird calfskin panel on the inside that blows out within months of heavy riding. The people I know who wear them only put them on right before they get in the show ring and take them off immediately after. And They still don't last long. The do have a great custom fit, beautiful leather, and I love the square toe. But yeah, that thinness of calfskin is just not a good idea in a boot.

Have you ever tried them on?? They only fit people with tiny ankles and VEEEEERY long calves!! They probably wouldn't fit you. (even though I've never seen your legs) In fact, they'd probably make you look terrible. And add 50 lbs. And give you blisters. Um, yeah. That's it. You don't really want them. (as I wipe the drool off my keyboard that always accumulates every time I see them)
