I am so, so proud of my boy right now!!

I'm just beaming! This morning my good friend Christy and I decided to take our horses out for a little trail ride to see how Flash would be. Her horse had done it quite a few times, but Flash hasn't ever been ridden on the roads/trails.

He was absolutely fantastic! We went down a bunch of roads, past fields of horses who were running around, past barking dogs, over gates, all through trails, over logs, through part of a hayfield, over a big wooden bridge, and up a switchback! He never put a foot wrong, he loved it!

I am so ecstatic, and I of course took a few pictures.

Oh that's so great :) He looks pretty relaxed for his first trail ride.

Thanks guys! When we first started out he was looking at absolutely everything, but after about 10 minutes he was so relaxed! The only time he'd get excited is when we went by a field of horses.

My legs sure are sore though! Haha
