I could not be happier :)

All I hear about are people who are unhappy with their horses or don't really enjoy being with them but I am just sooo happy with everything going on that is horse-related right now.

I am ecstatic with our herd, everyone is awesome and gets along. No more bites on my boy from the snotty pony and the herd dynamics have fallen into place perfectly. 5 is the perfect number for us, manageable yet there is a horse for whoever wants to ride.

We have finally found the perfect size for my "arena". After moving it around three or four times the dimensions have worked out great for what we have. I fixed the squeaky gate and have mastered opening and closing it while mounted.

Every time I look at my horse I can't believe I am lucky enough to have him. Every ride he is better and better and I like him more and more(if that is possible). Skips is such a great horse that isn't phased by anything. He has really come around and we have bonded a lot in the past three months. I cannot wait to get home just to see him and probably have annoyed everyone I know throughout the day talking about him haha. Once I start taking lessons on him in the next two months we will be a great team, I can feel it. Right now I feel super proud of him when I take him out and show him off to friends/family or just go for a hack by ourselves.

I could not be any happier with everything we have and the horses we own yet each time I go out by the horses I am somehow even happier. Does anyone else feel this way too?
