I'm a lucky girl in that I can keep my horses at home and see them from my kitchen window. There's a field which attaches to a small yard and 2 stables.
So this afternoon my boyfriend comes into the living room and says "is Solo supposed to be in the yard?" I say no, and being a sweetheart Dave just sighs and goes to put him out. He then comes back in, takes of his wellies and coat and comes to sit down. Then he says "I guess he was just trying to see Phoebe". I'm like "What??".
David looks confused for a second and says "Pheobe is supposed to be in the stable, right?" LOL. I'm like "NO!"
So we go out there and it seems that Solo has chased phoebe into her stable, Shut the door and pushed a wheelbarrow in front of it. Because of the closed door and wheelbarrow Dave assumed I had put her there and just left her there! Poor girl!
Needless to say we let her back out and gave her some hay, then tied a rope around the gate to stop Solo escaping again. Poor Dave was so confused when I said Phoebe should have been in the field. I wish I had a photo of his face!
There's a snapshot of life with a devious pony. Just thought I'd share...I couldn't help but laugh!
