I can relate to that Jessabel! Everytime I ride Soda, Flame follows me around unless I tie her up.... then she pouts. Of course she still wants me to ride her, but considering she falls (arthritis, injury, just plain old) everytime I've ridden her in the past year I stopped riding her about 6 months ago. My old gelding was like that too. I couldn't ride him at all the last year of his life, but everytime I came out with the bridle he would come over and try to stick his head in it and grab the bit. Kinda made me sad But I made sure to give him plenty of extra love.

I don't know how you do it Smrobs! I only have 2 and it takes me forever, I couldn't imagine having more!

Themapak- Yeah they've got me completely trained. Just sad, they probably sit around and plot in the pasture... "Ok, next time she comes out we'll surround her. Flame give her the look. Yeah that one. Put your lip out a little bit... Perfect, that'll get her. Then I'll come over and put my head on her shoulder and nuzzle her. She doesn't have a chance."

Green Broke
LOL yeah Sandie had me picking her the best, greenest grass while she was on the trailer at a horse show once! She had tons of hay, but the grass just tastes sooooo much better!!

Tally is a MASTER at what I refer to as the Pony Guilt Trip.

Right now I'm out to see Gypsy twice a day but I don't have time in the mornings for her for much more than a pat on the nose. She just stands there at the front of her stall giving me The Look while I feed Gyps her meds... I hate it, haha. I end up giving her more treats than I probably should so she'll stop just staring at me.

Sigh... they are too darn cute.

I was thinking about this post as I went out to feed the girls this morning. The pasture is right up against our house, which is a cedar siding cabin with a wrap around porch. If I walk out onto the porch, they hear me and come running over to look up at me as if to say "Yeh, now you're out here, let's eat!"

This morning I went out to feed them and Maggie who has been quiet up til today, trotted over to me, whinied, then trotted the whole way from the house to the feed shed along side me. Carolina thought she'd join in the fun and did it too. Silly girls. I feel used *sob*
