Unhappy I give up

I just spent the last 2 hours ( a few breaks to get some actual work done) typing about my messed up/crappy horse situation, and HF said I wasn't logged in (I was), or aren't allowed to post (don't know why that would be, but the way things have been going I wouldn't be surprised), so I lost everything I typed.

I give up, I don't want to play anymore. I don't know anything, never did. Everyone knows more than me, even though I get asked for help all the time(not you HF guys, others).

I quit

(sorry for that, just been a bad few weeks, this is the only place I can get it out, and appearantly I can't even do that. Sigh

??????
If this is your YAGE (Yet Another Grand Exit), I am sorry you feel the need to go. If not, and you are planning to stick around (kind of hard to tell from what you said), I have a tip for you - often if you are on too long doing a post, etc it will log out in the process -- to avoid this, if you think it will take you a long time to really think through and write out what you are wanting to say, I find using a notepad/word/etc file to type it up on and then using copy/paste to move it to a posting window will avoid that.
It sounds like you are feeling very overwhelmed {hugs}

Go to your start menu, find ACCESSORIES, then click on NOTEPAD. Type your responses on Notepad, then copy and paste to the forum Reply to Thread.
Notepad is your friend, in many ways. It will copy only text from other documents so you don't copy extra, unwanted formatting.
Hope this helps. Even at 54yo, I know a thing or two. Tee. Hee

busysmurf,

Sorry you're having a crummy week and a frustrating time.

I'm a little unclear about what's happening though - it seems like you solved whatever was keeping you from posting, because you posted here?

Or did you lose a long post that you spent a lot of time on composing? That's happened to me, and I *hate* it - usually means that your log in had timed out. Sometimes I compose long posts in Word or WordPad and then paste them here to avoid that very thing.

If there's something specific about the way the board works you want to talk about, please start a thread in Talk to The Team and the rest of the mod team will see it and weigh in.

But if you just want to vent because you've had a crappy week, well, then, you've posted in the correct place - vent away!

If the cookies don't help, try alcohol. Wine a little; you'll feel better.

There are always going to be people out there who know more than you. But you know how those smartie pants got so knowledgeable? They kept asking questions! There's nothing to be ashamed of. And half the time I think that people on here copy and paste their answers from Google lol.
Sorry guys

I'm currently making a huge amount of fudge for an event...
Would you like some?
Ooey gooey yummy always makes things look a little less ominous.

My puter hates on me too sometimes, so notepad or word is my friend.
