I just remembered that before all that stuff went down, some guy rang my mobile and asked if my boy was a stallion. While he is quite nice looking, and IMO has pretty good conformation, There is no way anyone could have seen his picture and gotten my phone number without first clicking on the link which read "14.2 coloured cob gelding - Kent"
I didn't write all that stuff about him for fun y'know people....
Lol oh that's great!!! How do you open something without looking at the link.
That's soo stupid..
Yeah, it'd be good if people read what is posted up there and make a decision whether on not to call.
Buckcherry I would have fell on the floor laughing. Hopefully she didn't get hurt though. I don't know how people call you and/or lie, saying they can ride and than something like that happens.
Erikalynn I love stupid people because they make me laugh too, don't get me wrong I just hate the stupidty. Sorry I can't spell today
I know, it was the in the link, the title of the ad (big and bold) and repeated in the text. For a couple of seconds it was quite literally the closest I have ever been to completely speechless on the phone! Haha
Good luck to you! It is really frustrating! Seems like there must be some people somewhere that have experience that don't own a horse. I am thinking about leasing my mare on my property. I don't need someone to even pay anything just have some riding experience and want to come spend time with her. I haven't even put an ad up because I am scared of the crazies. Maybe we should come up with an application they have to fill out before even coming to see the horse. I hope the right person comes along for you and your horse!
Lol about like selling one. I had a barrel horse for sale, advertised as a barrel horse and I mentioned shed been shown in hunt seat classes. Person called and asked if she had jumped before and if she could do western pleasure XD and then ppl came to see her said they ran NBHA and didn't know what the state show was and went to the barrel with the wrong hand on the rein. The people you meet is more amusing than anything else. Posted via Mobile Device
BarrelRacer86 I totally agree and they ran NBHA but, didn't know what the state show was and even went to the barrel with the wrong hand? That screams LIARRRRRRR! :)
