I just thought Id share my joy

a couple of days ago a friend of mines first ever foal was born. about 3 or so months ago, she lost her husband to a logn battle with cancer.
Before my friend bred her horse, she was abotu to sell her because she couldnt handle carign for a foal and her husband in his condition.

Her husband talked her into it, because it would be her greatest pleasure to breed her mare (she had wanted t for a long time.)
The foal was born healthy and very friendly. He is a stunning little black one, and I saw the photos recently of them hugging and patting him, you should have seen the look on my friends face. I have never seen her happier since the death of her husband. This little foal, has brought so much joy into her life and that of her young daughter also. I am just so so happy for them.

Anyways, id just thought Id share. Just how much pleasure these animals brign to our world is amazing, and id be lost without them.

That is so nice to hear. God always seems to find a way to offset grief.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Wow, did I ever cry. I couldn't imagine losing my husband, he is my rock. I really feel for her, I'm glad that something was able to touch her heart.

Thankyou everyone. It is such a good distraction for her, to focus on something that needs nuturing and love, instead of focusing on her loss.
