    I kinda feel bad.

We have this filly - who's super awesome bred for halter, but lacks a great personality. While she's been fun, it's time to part ways with her, but what really kicked me into motion by selling her off is that I found a gelding that I really like a lot.

He's a HUS machine, and I love the way he moves. So I kind of feel bad that I really want to boot her now, because in order to buy him, I need to sell her (lack of space, and she just needs to go). The only thing I don't like about him, is that he's BIG. 16.1 hands... I'm use to 15.3 and lower XD

I realize I need to get over it, and do what's best for me and her. She can go off and be a spazzy halter horse with someone who wants her and is willing to put up with it, and I can have an awesome english pleasure horse. Win/Win.... Now, lets hope my plan goes as well as I've thought it out XD

As a note: Her mom was a semi spazz too, I contacted a former owner - so the loose screw is genetics 8| Wish I'd known that earlier!

Do not feel bad, I would rather she go to a home and be a appreciated than you resent her for what she is and have to deal with her. I think selling her will be better on both you and the horse.

I don't resent her as much at the mother does, but she does bully Tuff something awful, and it honestly P's me off. Cowboy is the karma train, and runs her around but she never seems to 'get it', and he's always having to put her in her place. Honestly, she's going to get big one day and if she hurts him... then, then is when I'll really resent her.

My fear is that she hasn't even matured to start cycling then. I can't imagine what beast that will become! She's taught me a lot while she's been here though - 1.) Always ask questions about the parents. 2.) Never rush into buying a colt. 3.) You can be nice all you want, but sometimes you have to draw a super hard line. She learned that a few weeks ago when she decided she was a aeres horse.
