Red face I need help with writing a letter. German!

I want to contact my mare's previous owners, but they are from Germany and Austria. And I suck in german (especially if I had to talk about horses).
I was thinking if there was someone on this forum who could translate my letter?
Please, help me

Use google translate! Just search "google translate" and it's free to use. But make sure when you translate it from english to german to check to see if it makes sense (you would do this by translating the german to english). Sometimes google isn't always correct ;)

I would not suggest google translate, or any traslator online for that matter. It might get the point across, but for example, I'm decent in Spanish, and I know that translators like that leave a loottt to be desired. Things vary so much between languages, especially since German is not Latin-based like English is.

I think I'm just going to ask my teacher for help. :)
I help myself with google translator often (slovene-english), but just if I don't understand a word. If I put whole sentences in it I get one big misunderstanding :P
