I think I need to have a chat with god...

...about the anatomy of the horse. This colic thing is ridiculous. Horses should be able to burb and throw up. Period. End of story. Ugh.

If horses could regurgitate, can you imagine what it would be like?

I think about the puke piles my dog makes.

Horse puke piles would just be too scary.

You have a very good point... Hmm... Haha.

But I suppose they don't need to regurgitate very often, right? I suppose I could handle a few large piles of god knows what every once in awhile if it meant my horse would be alive. O_O

I am very glad they do NOT.

I do not handle puke well at all. Not from my kids, not from my dog..... generally my hubby just tells me to leave the house until he's taken care of it.

I hear you there. But if you figure that horses eat grass, it's much less disgusting than dogs and cats and people that eat meat and other nastier things. I think grass would be much easier to deal with, haah.

My dog pukes up grass. Yes, it is easier to clean up than the puke the dog who eats the dog crap piles makes. But even grass puke sucks.

And while you're chatting, maybe you can bring up the matter of the human lower back? If this was "intelligent design", then Somebody's a sadist

    Oh, yeah, and allergies?
        05-27-2010, 06:05 PM
I don't know, I still think I'd rather my horse be able to throw up if she had to, lol. But I've been working awfully hard on my weak stomach. I want to get into vet school, and I really need to be able to deal with vomit. O_O

James, I TOTALLY hear you on the allergies thing! My god, I've been absolutely DYING the last few weeks. Stupid pollen. Ugh.

Hey y'all, don't hate on the plants for having sex. It's not their fault we're allergic to their sperm!
