I think I was scammed.....REALLY need the advice?

I feel like such an idiot right now...I'm not 100% sure if I was scammed yet but I am thinking I was..

So I have been looking for a Billy Royal training saddle. Found one on craigslist. Asked the lady if it was for sale, etc.

It was and I asked a couple of other questions. She checked out in my mind.

She wanted a check, we were going to do PayPal but something happened (just some complications). She gave us her address and we sent the check. I've had scammers try to buy from me before. I know what they sounds like, I know how they ask for things, etc. I've had my fair share of that.

This lady just seemed...So normal...I could go on to say the things that made her sound like she WASN'T a scam.

But just now I went on craigslist to see if she took down the ad...
Not only was it still up, she put another one up as well.

I'm really upset right now, I'm not sure if its actually a scam or what. But I don't think a scammer would give me their actual address...
We also looked on whitepages and the person WAS real, we saw her first and last name with the same address and state.

I'm not sure.
Any advice is greatly needed.

Not that I know of--We sent the check a while ago, she must have gotten it by now. It wasn't a personal check either.

...I'm not following.

You want to buy a saddle, so why are you the one shipping it?

Hmm it sounds fishy. I was almost scammed into sending a check for a deposit on a home off of Craigslist until I found the same house on an actual website for rent listing at over $1000 more for rent. People are evil and I never trust craigslist. I hope you didn't get scammed. Let us know.

The person who we bought it from is shipping it to us. They were from another state.
