I think the wheels are in motion(ok they are)

Well we sold the house to save money for a couple of years for "the farm". Hoping in about 1-2 years we'll be able to buy 5-10 acres for our farm. My girls are into around their 4th year of lessons and eat,sleep and breath horses and they are only 6 and 7 1/2. HELLLLPPP. Just kidding. I have started my education on owning horses(not totally clueless on the subject) but looking for any books/links to further it. There goes the boat fund

Forgot to mention that selling the house and buying land isn't just for the horse thing. We want to grow more of our own food than we do now. Going to try to be self sufficient as much as possible

Another good one I like, is also by Cherry Hill, it's called "How To Think Like a Horse", it really helps with horse psychology

My parents dream of being self sufficient and I wouldn't mind it, if I had grass within a mile of my flat lol!

And I really need that book! My horse is in a 2/3 acre field at the moment with 4 other horses (during the day). When I go home for Christmas he will be on 0.6 acre lol! Well it lasted him ok last winter, so should be ok this year.
