Same here! Hay would be my first choice.

Otherwise, I'm sure I could find some nifty hoof boots, which I always need, but I don't think I would want to spend $500 just on hoof boots.

Oh I know, how about a few more corral panels to expand their living area? That would be nifty. But $500 wouldn't go very far with that I'm afraid.

At this stage... I'd probably buy a cheap horse :P

But if I was riding my horse I'd probably lean towards a nice new bridle, and maybe a real nice saddle pad.

I'm on the hay wagon.
After last year, I'd buy as much cheap hay as I could right now.
We did fine but right now first cut is cheap and that's how last year started

A nice bridle, a full cheek French link snaffle, the saddle I've had my eye on at the local tack consignment shop (it's a nice 17" Circle M with a wide tree and the chick only wants $150 for it), a three tier saddle rack, his teeth floated...I think that's about it. Lol

LOL -I had an extra $800.00 three weeks ago and it must have went back on the horses. Hay, feed, and more hay,feed. I think, cause my money is gone!?
